The 7 Best Eago Toilets – Reviews 2021
1. EAGO TB351 Dual Flush Eco-Friendly Toilet – Best Overall
The EAGO TB351 Dual Flush Eco-Friendly Toilet is our pick for the best overall Eago toilet. This model features a dual flush with separate flush buttons for intuitive use. The larger flush uses 1.6 gallons to efficiently remove solid waste, while the smaller flush reduces water usage to 0.8 gallons to remove liquid waste. Its 3-inch flushing valve makes sure there is plenty of space for the waste to exit, and a wide water surface in the bowl helps reduce odors and makes it easier to clean. It’s not too bad to get into position at 92 pounds.
The downside to the EAGO TB351 is that the instructions are very poor. To install the toilet and repair worn parts, you will likely need to look up videos on YouTube.
2. EAGO TB309 Tall Dual Flush Eco-Friendly Toilet – Best Value
The EAGO TB309 Tall Dual Flush Eco-Friendly Toilet is our pick for the best EAGO toilet for the money. This brand is very similar to our top pick in many ways, including the bowl’s odor-reducing wide water surface. It’s slightly larger than our top choice but has the same dual flush system that uses 1.6 gallons for solid waste and 0.8 gallons for the liquid to help reduce your environmental footprint. The 3-inch flushing valve helps quickly evacuate waste, and the symphonic flush system removes the flapper and chain for a more efficient system that requires less maintenance.
The biggest downside to the EAGO TB309 is that it’s a little heavier than our top model at 98 pounds, which can make a big difference when getting it into place. We also noticed that the flush was loud on this model compared to many of the others. There was no reference to the package’s noise level, but several of our family members commented on the loud flush.
3. EAGO TB336 High Efficiency Eco Toilet – Premium Choice
The EAGO TB336 High Efficiency Eco-Friendly Toilet is our premium choice Eago toilet. This model is very similar to our other top picks, but it further improves the system and reduces water consumption to only 1.28 gallons per flush (GPF). The 3-inch valve helps evacuate waste quickly, and the wide water surface keeps the toilet cleaner. This model can also accept accessories like the bidet, and it has a uniquely modern square shape.
The primary downside to the EAGO TB336 is that it is quite expensive compared to the other top picks, and it’s also the heaviest of the three, so it can be a struggle to get into place for the installation.
4. EAGO JA1010 Ceramic Bathroom Bidet with Elongated Seat
The EAGO JA1010 Ceramic Bathroom Bidet with Elongated Seat is one of the few horizontal spray bidets available. The high-quality ceramic housing is durable and can easily withstand 300 pounds or more, and the elongated bowl is comfortable and allows for plenty of room to get everything clean. It only weighs 58-pounds, so it’s relatively easy to install, even on the second and third floors.
The main downside to the EAGO JA1010 is that it is just the bidet and will not cover all your toilet needs. It’s only for cleaning up. It also does not come with a faucet, so you will need to find a way to deliver water to it.
5. EAGO TB356 Dual Flush Eco-Friendly Toilet
The EAGO TB356 Dual Flush Eco-Friendly Toilet is another modern looking EAGO toilet model that features the water-conserving dual flush. This system uses 1.6 GPF to purge solid waste and 0.8 GPF for liquid. It’s a one-piece toilet with a glazed bowl and drain valve for better waste removal and easier cleaning.
The downside to the EAGO TB356 is that it’s a little heavier at 105 pounds and can struggle to install and carry upstairs. The two-inch valve is not as effective as the three inches at evacuating waste, and we needed a second flush on several occasions.
6. EAGO TB222 Dual Flush Eco-Friendly Toilet
The EAGO TB222 Dual Flush Eco-Friendly Toilet features a dual flush system with the same 1.6-gallon solid waste and 0.8-gallon liquid waste as many other models on this list. It’s lightweight at only 88 pounds and easy to install. It has a soft closing lid and a wide water surface to quickly grab waste to reduce odors and ease cleaning. The three-inch flushing valve helps evacuate waste faster.
The downside to the EAGO TB222 that we noticed while we were reviewing it was that it seemed to flush slower than other models, and it clogs on occasion.
7. EAGO TB353 Dual Flush Eco-Friendly Toilet
The EAGO TB353 Dual Flush Eco-Friendly Toilet features a soft closing lid and a dual flush. It uses 0.8/1.6 GPF flushes like most others and also has a wide water surface. It’s also lightweight at only 88 pounds and is easier than a few others to get into place.
The problem we had with the EAGO TB353 Dual Flush Eco-Friendly Toilet was that it was very difficult to install, and the instructions were not clear. Once installed, we had to plunge it about once a week to keep it running, much more than the other models.
Let’s look at some of the important things to consider before purchasing an Eago toilet.
Reduced Water Use
One of the biggest advantages of using an EAGO toilet is reduced water usage over traditional styles. Traditional toilets can use 3 to 5 gallons per flush, while an EAGO toilet usually uses only 1.6 gallons. This seemingly small amount can add up to hundreds or even thousands of gallons per year, especially if you have a large family. When used along with the dual flush feature we’ll talk about next, you can notice a difference in your water bill the first month, and it will significantly reduce your toilet’s impact on the environment.
Our premium choice model, the EAGO TB336 High-Efficiency Eco-Friendly Toilet, allows you to reduce the water used to only 2.28 GPF for even more savings.
Another feature offered by many EAGO toilets is selecting between two flushes depending on what type of waste is in the bowl. The stronger selection delivers the entire 1.6 GPF to evacuate the debris from the bowl. The weaker setting reduces the water used to only 0.8 GPF. Use this setting to remove liquids from the bowl to save another 50% on water use, further reducing your environmental footprint.
In our opinion, the two-button method is better than other models that use a flush handle because it’s easier to remember, so you use it more often. Other brands incorporate their design into the handle. Flushing the toilet normally by pressing down the handle releases the stronger flush while raising the handle reduces a smaller flush. While the handle system works fine, we found that habit dictates pressing down the lever, and we often habitually forget to use the water-saving feature.
Most EAGO toilets use their unique Symphonic Flush system, which removes the flapper and chain, so there is less surface area in contact with water, so the parts last longer before maintenance is required. These systems also allow more water into the drain at once so you can get a stronger flush while using less water.
The downside to symphonic flush systems is that they are not yet as popular as the traditional flapper styles, so it can be a bit more challenging to find replacement parts.
Your toilet’s weight can be a vital part of your decision, especially if you have to transport it up one or more flights of stairs. It can also be difficult to move your toilet into a position if it’s too heavy. We listed everything over 100 pounds as a little heavier than it needs to be during our reviews, as most other models can keep it closer to 90.
Glazed Toilet Bowl and Drain Valve
The Glazed toilet and drain valve help to prevent material from clogging by creating a smoother surface. It also makes it easier to clean because the smooth surface also prevents waste from sticking to it, so it doesn’t get dirty as quickly as traditional toilets, and the smooth surface is easier to wipe down.
The important thing to remember about most glazed toilets is that you cannot use bleach products to clean them. It could destroy the glazing compound, reducing its effectiveness and possibly causing unsightly damage to the toilets finish. When you need to clean a glazed toilet, any toilet cleaner will do as long as it has no bleach.
Wide Water Base
Many modern toilets reduce the amount of water they use by allowing less water to remain in the bowl, so there is more in the tank for the flushing action. However, this system leaves many dry surface areas that waste material can stick to before it gets flushed. Stuck material can increase odor significantly while you are using the toilet, and it often requires more than one flush to remove the stuck-on material.
The EAGO toilets solve this problem by providing the user with a unique design. The EAGO system places a wide water base in the bowl to capture all of the waste as it enters the toilet, reducing odor and preventing and material from becoming stuck to the surface. The system then effectively uses the water in the bowl to assist with the rapid evacuation of waste during the flush. Very little water is required in the tank, keeping the water usage to a minimum.
EAGO toilets use less water partly because of their rapid waste removal system, increasing the drain valve’s width from 2 inches in most conventional toilets to 3 inches. This wider drain allows water and waste to pass through much faster and enables the flushing system to create more suction. The wider drain valve also significantly reduces the frequency of clogs and makes releasing clogs much easier.
Soft Closing Lid
The soft closing lid isn’t going to be something that changes your mind about a toilet, but it is quite nice not to be jarred awake in the middle of the night by a lid that suddenly slams shut. It’s also much safer for pets to have a soft closing lid because pets get thirsty and can seek water from the toilet and get hurt on a traditional lid.
Of all the EAGO toilets we tried, we liked the EAGO TB351 Dual Flush Eco-Friendly Toilet best. It has the three-inch valve and dual flush like most other models, the weight is under 100 pounds, and has a wide water base with a soft closing lid. It never clogged and has a powerful flush, but it’s not too noisy on the refill. The EAGO TB309 Tall Dual Flush Eco-Friendly Toilet is our best value and is almost as good as our top choice and costs less. It’s a larger toilet, so it’s a little heavier and harder to put in than the top model but may fit some people better once installed. It’s a little noisy on the flush but otherwise has all of the more expensive models of water-saving and odor-reducing features.
